Ambrogio Installation Process

Just like in the video below, I recommend that you get your dealer install the mower for you. This process can be a little confusing the first time you do it so you’re more likely to make mistakes. The pros will handle it without a problem and may even give you some advice about using the mower in your garden. This may come at a cost but it’s totally worth it.

But in saying that the process is fairly simple to carry out so you shouldn’t have too many problems doing it yourself. Just make sure you read the overview below and watch the video so you know what to do.

  1. First you’ll need to find a suitable place to put your charging station. This should be near (preferably beside) an outdoor power supply with flat and soft ground. Make sure to position it parallel to the side of your garden so the perimeter wire can be connected correctly.
  2. Now you’ll need to lay the perimeter wire around the edges of your lawn and any bushes, flower beds or trees. This is where the dealer comes in handy as they will be able to bury the wire beneath the soil using a special tool. Assuming you don’t own one of these, you’ll have to peg the wire down onto the grass instead. But don’t worry, the grass will eventually cover the wire within a few months anyway so this shouldn’t be much of a problem.
  3. Next you will need to connect the wire to the charging station. This is most complicated section of the process so it’s best if you just refer to the user manual.
  4. Now you’ll need to program the mower. This just includes things like the mowing height and the mowing schedule. This shouldn’t be too difficult so you shouldn’t have too many problems doing this yourself.
  5. Once programmed, send the mower out for a test. This lets you know if the mower can operate properly in your garden. If it can roam freely without a problem then everything should be okay.
  6. Now it’s time to get up and running. Place the mower back on its charging station (if it hasn’t already made its way back there already) and let it embark on its first mow.

Here’s a little video of the process to make it easier to understand:
